Unborn kids can be reserved with a $100 deposit, accompanied by our completed sales contract. Reservations will be taken on a first-come first-serve basis. There will be No Reservations without a deposit. The deposit is non-refundable unless the kid of your choice is not born, at which time you can choose to apply your deposit to another kidding or have your deposit refunded. If for some reason you decide you will not be able to purchase the animal your deposit will not be refunded.

If you see a doe you are interested in that already has reservations you may request to be put on an alternate list in case the reservation cancels.

Buck kids that are wethered will be wethers available as pets starting at $150. Wethers make wonderful loving pets and they can be shown in 4-H shows. All kids are disbudded unless naturally polled and will be current on CD&T.

All kids born here at 8 Gables are automatically put on bottles between 3-7 days of age. This helps to keep them friendly and comfortable with humans. It is best for you to bring them home as early as possible to spend as much time as you can bonding with them and insuring they will be friendly and snuggly. Reserved kids must be picked up by 14 days of age. 7-10 days is even better. After 14 days boarding charges of $4 per kid per day will be applied to the balance due. Reserved kids still at the farm after 8 weeks of age will no longer be considered reserved and be available for sale. (Deposit forfeited)

Goat breeding offers no guarantees. It's kind of like a box of chocolates? You are never quite sure what you are going to get. Good genetics is a must but still there are no guarantees. An excellent breeding this season may be repeated next season, but with a totally different result.

Kids leave our herd in good health. Any illness incurred after arrival at their new home is the responsibility of the new owner.
